Visitation will be held for 90 year old former Southampton resident Elizabeth A. Sawyer on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the O'Connell Funeral Home located at 30 Little Plains Road in Southampton. A Funeral Service led by Pastor Leslie Desereau will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 am at the O'Connell Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Southampton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Emerald Coast Hospice, 4374 Lafayette Street, Marianna, Florida 32446.

A most loved lady-Elizabeth Sawyer
As known by many,(Nanny) was a good hearted lady, who loved her family and was always there for them in her younger years. . For her 90th birthday a very large party was held for her by her Grandaughter Paula and her husband Arty. Betty (Nanny) was up the entire day and her smile lasted until it was over. She was there to help raise her granddaughters Sandy, Paula and Jennifer and then helped raise AJ and Bryon. Her great grandsons .Betty will be missed by many, who loved her. A simple life, but one that left a mark on so many hearts. God blessed us all, that she shared her life and love with all of us.
