  Barbara Elsa Steudte died on October 2, 2011 at  the age of 56 at Southampton Hospital. She is survived by her mother Irmgard Steudte and three brothers and their wives, Harold & Susan, Christoph & Michele and Steffen & Mary Ellen all of Southampton as well as her nieces and nephews, Jennifer Steudte Parendo and her husband Keith Parendo, Benjamin Steudte, Christoph Steudte, Stephanie Steudte, Steffen Steudte, Jr., Jesse Steudte and a great nephew and great niece Joseph and Charlotte Parendo. She was predeceased by her father Gerhard Steudte. She is also survived by her aunts, uncles and many couisins in Germany.
  
  Visitation will be held for 56 year old Southampton resident Barbara E. Steudte on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the O'Connell Funeral Home, located at 30 Little Plains Rd in Southampton. A prayer service will be held on Thursday evening at 8:00 PM at the O'Connell Funeral Home. A private cremation will follow. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to East End Hospice, PO Box 1048, Westhampton Beach, NY 11978.
