Briggs Smith Palmer of Bridgehampton, NY died on May 14, 2011. In addition to his loving wife, Amy, Mr. Palmer is survived by three sons, David and his wife Kim of Fairfield, CT; Gregory and his wife Ann Marie of Savannah, NY; Briggs Jr. and his wife Peggy of Woodland Hills, CA; a brother Sam and his wife Connie of McHenry, IL. He is also survived by six grandchildren Jack, Kate, Briggs, Helen, Jordan and Christopher Palmer. Memorial services will be held at the Columbarium at St. John’s Northwestern Military Academy in Delafield, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. John’s Northwestern Military Academy, 1101 North Genesee Street, Delafield, WI 53018-1498.
